Aqueous Ozone in F&B

Aqueous Ozone can be used to wash and decontaminate all food items.
This process removes bacteria, pesticides and does not leave chemical traces behind.
A by product of this process is that washed food stays fresh longer.

Three primary ways that food contamination can occur is:

  • Biological: unhealthy microorganisms in the food;
  • Physical: hair, dirt, airborne pollutants that get in the food;
  • Chemical: intrusion of cleaning chemicals into the food.

One fish was washed in Aqueous Ozone, then packed in ice for 5 days. Look at the fresh looking gills!

The 2nd fish was washed in water and packed in ice for the same period and doesn't look so fresh!
